By downloading, installing, or using Lexiglu ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.
The App is developed and operated by Andrea Quadrelli ("Developer", "we", "us", "our"). These Terms constitute a legal agreement between you and the Developer.
Lexiglu is an English collocations dictionary that provides:
The App requires an account to access its features. Content is generated via Google's Gemini AI through Firebase Cloud Functions and is provided for educational and personal reference purposes only.
AI-generated linguistic content is provided as illustrative reference material only. It may not always reflect standard usage, formal register, or cultural conventions, and should not be used as a definitive source for academic, professional, or official purposes.
You must be at least 13 years of age (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained the necessary parental or guardian consent.
You may create an account using Sign in with Apple, Google, or email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep it up to date.
You may delete your account at any time from the App's Settings → Account Details → Delete Account. Upon deletion, your account data and synced favorites will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
The App is free to download. Free-tier users may perform up to 1 word search per day. The daily limit resets at midnight local time.
A "Lexiglu Pro" subscription or one-time purchase is available through Apple's In-App Purchase system, offering unlimited daily searches and additional features. Prices are displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase and may vary by region.
Available plans:
The Lifetime plan is a non-renewing one-time purchase. The Monthly and Annual plans automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID account settings (Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions).
If you lose access to your subscription (e.g., after reinstalling the App), you can restore your purchase via Settings → Subscription Plan → Restore Purchases.
All purchase refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their standard App Store refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will not affect your current subscription period; they will apply at the next renewal.
You agree not to:
All content within the App — including but not limited to collocation data, example sentences, definitions, and UI design — is the property of the Developer or generated by third-party AI services (Google Gemini). Such content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, or commercially exploit any content from the App without our prior written consent.
You retain ownership of any content you generate or provide to the App (e.g., search queries, favorites). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process and store this content solely to provide the service to you.
The App integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google), RevenueCat, and Google Gemini AI. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or content of third-party services.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that:
Lexiglu is an educational tool. Content should not be relied upon as a definitive linguistic or academic reference.
The App uses Google Gemini AI to generate collocations, example sentences, usage suggestions, and related linguistic content. Such content is produced algorithmically and has not been individually reviewed, verified, or endorsed by the Developer. AI-generated content may contain linguistic errors, unnatural or imprecise phrasing, factual inaccuracies, or examples that are contextually or culturally inappropriate for certain uses. The Developer expressly disclaims all liability for any errors, omissions, or inappropriate content produced by the AI service. Users are solely responsible for verifying the suitability of any AI-generated content before using it in academic work, professional communications, or any context where linguistic accuracy is critical.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or inability to use it, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Developer from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection law in your jurisdiction.
